CA Maheshwar Marathe

A Fellow Chartered Accountant qualified in year 2004, supported by multiple professional credentials including DISA, DIRM, IIBF, and certification as an Arbitrator from ICAI. He holds a strong academic foundation with a Bachelor of Commerce and advanced certifications in Forex and Treasury Management.

He brings deep expertise in MSME advisory, State and Central Government Incentives, bank audits, credit assessment, and financial planning. Before entering practice, he served as Area Credit Manager with ICICI Bank in SME Funding, strengthening his understanding of banking operations and credit evaluation.

He has led and executed a wide range of audits concurrent, stock, revenue, and statutory for nationalized, private, and co-operative banks. His exposure spans the Income Tax Act, Companies Act, Accounting Standards, Indian GAAP, Basel norms, and SOX compliance. As a qualified Information Systems Auditor, he has undertaken IS audits for various private sector and co-operative banks.

He is actively engaged in the MSME ecosystem as a course designer and faculty for ICAI's Certificate Course on MSME, a member of the Advisory Board Council of the Lexicon Centre of MSME Excellence, and a speaker at ICAI, SME forums, banks, and educational institutions. He has authored multiple articles on MSMED Act and MSME schemes in reputed publications.

He has also contributed to the profession through leadership roles, including serving on the Managing Committee of the ICAI Pimpri-Chinchwad Branch (2013-16) and as Expert Director at The Kalyan Janata Sahakari Bank Ltd.

He leads the GST, MVAT, and Foreign Trade Policy practice of the firm and regularly represents clients before quasi-judicial authorities. He has completed the Business Valuation course from ICAI and is currently pursuing DISA to further strengthen his technical expertise.

She holds specialized certifications in IFRS and Indirect Taxation from ICAI, reinforcing her strong technical and analytical capabilities.

She has led statutory, concurrent, and revenue audits for nationalized and co-operative banks, in addition to conducting audits across manufacturing, trading, services, insurance, and charitable sectors. Her specialization in Indirect Taxation spans Service Tax, Excise, and GST, with extensive exposure to compliance audits, departmental audits, and representation in appeals.

During her individual practice, she has handled income tax and wealth tax matters for individuals, firms, and companies; prepared project reports; and managed secretarial and company law compliances for private limited entities. She also carries three years of corporate experience as Chief Accountant, where she was responsible for finance, taxation, and day-to-day operational functions.

He specializes in Virtual CFO services, internal control and risk assessments, and the development of robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). His expertise includes business process audits and process modelling, ERP implementations, and end-to-end financial governance frameworks.
